We got tired of endless GOAT debates decided by pundits, algorithms, or closed committees — with fans watching from the sidelines.
So we built Wodagoat — the place where fans finally take control of the rankings.
Wodagoat was founded by Charles, Paul, and Ahmed.
Charles and Paul — friends for over 40 years — met Ahmed in Paris eight years ago. After a few startup adventures (and yes, a few epic fails), one thing became obvious: our passion had always been right in front of us — sports, debates, and the never-ending GOAT conversation.
Over time, Wodagoat evolved into a simple idea with a clear mission: let fans rank. Let the debate live.
In 2025, we started sharing football content and GOAT discussions on social media. The reaction was immediate — passionate debates, strong opinions, and over 4 million Instagram views. The community was ready.
We then tested an early version of the platform. Fans created more than 13,000 rankings around legendary football players — with Messi leading, Ronaldo close behind, and Pelé completing the podium. That’s when we knew we were building something real.
Later that year, we launched the Wodagoat Beta. Despite the rough edges, fans created 3,299 rankings from 3,234 users across 40 football categories, powered by a growing athlete database.
Thanks to the rise of no-code tools, Charles rebuilt the platform into a faster, cleaner experience. Today, fans can rank athletes across multiple sports — football, NBA, tennis, boxing, UFC, and Formula 1 — with a database that now includes 1,150 athletes.
For us, this is just the beginning.
No institutional bias. No hidden criteria.
Just fans shaping the greatest sports debates of all time.
